Pet Policy
At the Gannett Peak Lodge, well-mannered dogs are welcome to enjoy the wide open spaces with their owners. We're glad to offer a Doggy Welcome Kit, complete with clean sheets to help protect furnishings, a food/water bowl, waste bags and a treat after a day outdoors. Out of respect for our historic lodge and future guests, we are only able to accommodate dogs. Cats and other pets are not a good fit for the property.
All guests bringing their dogs to the motel are subject to the following guidelines:
We welcome well-behaved dogs. A non-refundable pet fee of $30 for the first night and $20 per additional night helps us maintain our rooms for all guests. In the event that extra cleaning or repairs are needed due to excessive hair or damage, additional charges may apply.
Unannounced dogs are subject to a $75 per night fee or reservation cancellation. If no pet friendly room is available, a rate difference may apply.
Dogs are permitted only in designated rooms as noted on the guest's signed registration.
Unattended dogs must be crated in the room and may not be left on patios or vehicles when the owner is not present.
All pet waste must be bagged and disposed of in garbage bins behind the office building on Magnolia Street.
For the comfort of all guests and staff, dogs must be comfortable around foot traffic and not bark loudly enough to be heard outside the room.
All dogs must be leashed or restrained when outside the room. Off leash dogs that have strayed from their owners, may be picked up by Pinedale Animal Control.
All dogs must have an identification and current rabies tags worn at all times in accordance with local ordinance.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at no additional cost. Please call ahead so we can prepare an appropriate room.
Emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered service animals and are subject to standard pet policies and fees.
